In all honesty there has been a lot of positives in the last week or so. My patience is where I am worried. I am afraid that I will blow this off because I am fed up with her antics.

I get reminiders to stick it out for my son but I do not know how long I can last.

The lawyer has been a opportunist, snake in the grass since the first day I met him. He now is preying on my wife. What gets me is everyone around will call out his faults and my wife will defend him to the bitter end.

I pray that one day she realizes it too and moves forward...

I actually got a rise out of my wife. She noticed I did not have my ring on after I returned home from the gym and was upset for the fact that i did not have it on.

Of course she thought that the reasons I gave her were just a bunch of "excuses". It makes me laugh that she get pissed at that but goes running to the phone when the OM calls...

Actually had a civil evening last night. After the fight about me not having my ring on, as I got into the shower, after the gym, we went to the Angel game.

Had a decent time, we both were astounded how well our 22 month old son did. He watched the game the entire time we were there. We also bought a jersey for his birthday party that is coming up in to months.

I was happy to see that see did not completely shut me out after getting upset. In teh past she wouldhave not gone to the game and tried to go out with the OG or the friend who is clueless about relationships. All present company excluded, my wife really knows how to pick them.

That's so great your son enjoyed the game.

And yes, that is a big difference in how W handled your fight. That's a good sign!

Yeah, I am excited that he enjoys baseball. I am a huge baseball fan and having my son enjoy the game as well makes my day.

In all honesty their has been signs of life coming from my wife. I get frustrated though that this can not be resolved quicker and that is what is hurting me.

At least if things get bad, I can sit down with my son and watch a game.

You are stronger now so if this gets bad again (which it doesn't seem like it will!), you will be ready. I am so happy for someone to have good signs!!

I have to admit that things seem to be more positive around here. Again though I am afraid that the lack of patience on my part will come back to haunt me.

I just want my wife back. As in the DR book, "Anything worth having is worth waiting for."

Another positive report. After one of her friend flaked on her (AGAIN!!!). She invited me to the Del Mar Racetrack for one of her friends birthday parties. The ride down was okay, besides the traffic. Had a good time at the track, she won on her first ever bet. I did not push anything on her, except maybe a beer. She did not argue though.

Overall, it was a fun trip to the track that ment a lot to me and she will never know it, oh well. Hope things are positive to report to you in the future...

Positive reports keep on comin' on this thread. That is fabulous. Isn't it funny how much we grow to appreciate and treasure the happy times, while our spouses are just going about their day?

Keep the good stuff going!
