Well I have never stopped her from doing what she wants. I suppose if she truly wants independence, she will have it, that choice is up to her. I think it is a very selfish way to have it, when it should be possible while married.

Then again, maybe kids are happier with two independent parents who are divorced. Had to throw some sarcasm in today !
