Remember the story about the two wolves, Fear and faith, being in constant battle inside of us? The little boy asked his grandfather which one would win? The grandfather said "the one you feed".
Well, tonight I drop kicked "fear" right off the porch. I was in the shower when I knew what I was going to do. I got out of the shower and (I did pray first)then I just let my hair dry by itself, got dressed and at 10pm I was knocking on my husband's door.
I told him I just came by to look at him and tell him that I love him.
He asked if it was because of the calendar (D11 had told him). I told him no, but jealousy is a good motivator. He went into a lengthy explanation about who "BL" was...I tried to stop him and tell him it didn't matter but he persisted so I let him finish. Then I told him I have been scared to death of him rejecting me so while I had found it easy to say ILY on the phone or in an email, I was sick of being scared so basically, "here I am". He said "you came all the way over here in a storm to tell me that?". Yes I did. I told him I don't love him like a brother or a friend, that I love him with all my heart and soul. I told him I did not expect him to say anything, I just had to tell him that. He then said "Come on. I want to show you something". We went into his room (get your mind outta the gutter, sexy ain't back yet )and he showed me pictures on his computer of the wisteria growing in the trees outside, deer playing in the yard yesterday afternoon and other misc. pics. D11 got out of the shower and we messed with her for a bit. Before I left he was talking about having an appraiser come out next week because he's trying again to refinance. S14 and I will be over there this weekend helping get things ready. Lots of yard work needs to be done. He said he needs all the help he can get and "it will benefit us all".
Sexy's coming back and doing yard work this weekend.
I think he's been asking for it for a while, but he's just as afraid as you are! "There's got to be a better way", the "joke" he and you daughter played.....

No Amy you still have plenty of friends here, just some of us are spending a little less time around the boards these days. Especially with strange stich happenings. Guess I need to update soon.
