Right on Cades--thank you for dropping in to share your perspective. \:\)

We took the kids out to dinner and a movie tonight---it was a little interesting with D1, but overall a very nice evening together. I am so blessed to be here now.

Oh, man, I do know what you mean. I haven't attempted taking the 3 out to dinner in a LONG time \:\) It's bad enough when I have to pack all 3 up and just go to Wal-Mart!!

LOL. Wal-mart is number one on my list of places to avoid some days. I think one hour there alone with three little kids is equal to an 8 hour day at a manual labor job. Some days it feels like that anyway. \:\)

Our Wal-mart has a daycare/playground, however the staff and clientèle look like circus employees. Don't get me started.

the Tag man hits again \:\)

Knowing that, I find myself being continually surprised at how easy it is to slip into these habits. I imagine they spring from some kind of instinctive self-preservation mode.
==============
Well, my A discovery is barely wks old so I get lost of those awful thoughts assaulting me. I try to go back to the basics, to put a STOP sign in my mind. From "not just friends" I got that we go through is almost (and sometimes it is) like PTSD. Some thoughts really carry us over the edge, and it said that sometimes we need to ride the waves and think "yes, this was painful, but this thought will pass" and let it run it's course without destroying us.

Hugs babes, hope you are doing better)))))

That's a very good read and the right response. Unfortunately I know from experience this is right. Stay tough.

Thanks for the hugs and bumps...er, hope that doesn't sound naughty!

Cat--thanks for the stop sign reminder. You so validate what I'm trying to do.

I'm still having those episodes almost every day, and am catching and talking myself through them. I feel oh-so-much-better when H gets home and gives me all that great attention I missed for so long.

I have the "Not Just Friends" book...just haven't gotten around to reading it yet. I am boggled when I realize how much non-fiction I've read in the last year. (I love to read, but before all this went down, I had a hard time finishing anything that didn't have an entertaining plot. \:\) ) Anyway, I will do some browsing through it one of these days.
