I'm thinking Trip's on the right track here. Until he shows himself to be worthy of knowing your needs, there's no point in actually opening yourself up to him like that. You're right. You deserve more. It seems to me that he's not capable of even giving himself what he needs right now, let along someone else.

Thanks HS. I have to say that I was surprised by the fact that he seemed to be paying attention to my needs when we talked today. Unfortunately, I think it may have something to do with the fact that I am just not that into him right now. Yep, not gonna open myself up to him too much. Thanks again.
