OMG Ophelia! You are sooooo gorgeous! This is going to sound so mean but aren't you out of his league a little? Does he have issues with you being better looking. I am not saying he is not as beautiful as you, but c'mon? Again, no disrespect intended. But your pic took my breath away. He is a lucky man.

Gorgeous dress! You're very talented. I have a sewing machine, had great intentions, but . . . .
Thanks Cadesmom. I don't sew all that often really, but when I decide to make something, I really get stuck into it and it always seems to work out in the end, (maybe I inherited the sewing gene from my late grandmother....she used to sew a lot of her own clothes). I was actually still making changes to it with only a couple of weeks to go til the wedding. And when I say "changes" I mean, "I really don't think I want it to be a one piece anymore, so how about I unstitch the waistline then totally re-design the bottom half of the bodice."

Thanks mkultra, (though the professionally done makeup had a bit to do with how glam I looked on that particular day....I don't usually put in quite that much effort to pretty myself up ).
Actually, it's kinda interesting that H's whole attitude towards our M seemed to change when he went on this big health kick and lost a lot of weight and put on a lot of muscle. I was really proud of him for being committed to putting in all that hard work, but I think his new look probably went to his head a bit. I can remember in our first C session, the counsellor asked us what we thought the real problem was, and I blurted out, "He doesn't think I'm good enough for him anymore."

Wow, sometimes I wonder if peopel leave because of the oppsosite, that we are too good for them? I wonder if it is just simplistic as "He is just not that into you." " Get over it."

I think my H left because I was too good for him. Now, he realizes that he should have put more effort in because I was worth it, but he took it too far, so he won't turn back. What a sad way to live.

Ah, here's photos of my new puppy!!!! I think I'm on there too (but may take that off. I hate to think my next door neighbor or OW might see me!), and a favorite dog photo of mine.... Don't know if the link works http://s218.photobucket.com/albums/cc312/Comtesse_de_provence/
