My fave wedding photo.
I made my dress. Couldn't find anything perfect, so came up with my own design and made it from scratch. Wanted it to be perfect because I knew I'd only ever have one wedding dress.

I designed and made my tiara. Made my veil. Took a pair of white satin shoes and covered them with purple glitter, because purple is my fave colour. I wanted everything I wore that day to be perfect.

I took 4 buttons off my mum's wedding dress and sewed them onto the back of mine. They would be passed down to our children, and their children. Those 4 buttons would get sewn onto every wedding dress in the future as the "something old".

So much for that, huh?

I still have that photo sitting on the shelf. I see it every day.
