I agree with ediemarie that the email sounds sincere. Sometimes I think people run and run, doing whatever it is they do, so that they don't have to stop and look at who they are themselves. Whether it be that they have all consuming hobbies or go off and have affairs, for some reason they are not happy within themselves. This can only be addressed when they are brave enough to stop and look at themselves in the cold light of day. It's frightening, and they probably don't like what they see, but they start to recognise that they need to change. Does this make sense?
I sort of get the feeling that maybe your W has reached the point where she is looking at herself and wanting to change. If that is the case then you may have a really good opportunity here. Saffie
