Okay, how 'bout if I said "Do me like I ain't ever been done before, stranger-man." Of course, the problem is how's the stranger supposed to know how I ain't been done before? Unfortunate fantasy paradox.

Sorry, sister, this isn't a fantasy paradox... this is a vulnerability issue.

Same way when I find a cool recipe in all the recipes available in a given cook book... sounds good on paper... but now I have to MAKE it.

Did this just last night, as a matter of fact. I THOUGHT I followed the recipe as it said... and it was quite tasty... not the best I've ever had... good, certainly. I could let the recipe fall off my radar and never think about it again, now that I've had it. But... man, does it have POTENTIAL... given that I am willing to experiment and try new things when I cook.

For me to experiment with the recipe, at this point, will require my willingness to fail (vulnerability). If I am not willing to fail, or have it taste any less that what I have already experienced... I will move on.

The recipe's potential is now weighed against my willingness to invest my emotional time and energy IN it. If it has a good foundation... if it doesn't...

Sounds like a few people I know... ;\)

If you are talking to me, all I have to say is you had better be prepared to take me out and get me real-life drunk if I f*ck up the recipe because the last 6 months of my life have been like some Hell's Kitchen reality show.

Sweety... you are the cook. And it is your recipe, to play with or not... as you wish. The outcome, and how it tastes.... who are you cooking for? You or me?

Chrom / corri I'll be happy to join in.

I wasn't invited but have been interested in a workshop because
)a) It is something you really want to do, YES.
b) You are somehow feeling bad/guilty for me, NO
c) ____ fill in your own answer____. I don't have a goal anymore. I have given up most of my expetations of what a R should be. What is going to be after I stop protecting myself and BB, is going to be.

But I wasn't invited, but would like to see where a workshop takes people.
