Why do these things happen lX

It has basically been a matter of circumstances. I have never gone this long not talking since we met. It hurts big time, but do not know what else to do at this time. Because of work and school schedules we actually have no need to ever see or talk to each other unless she wants too, so far that has not happened. Not sure if I should call just to say hi and whats up, or just let her do whatever she is doing.
