Sure, I would like to visit.

But bam, I was really serious about the hardwood floors in the kitchen. We had them in our house in UT. Very nice looking. Very easy to care for.

And now for the story. Here is part of the conversation at the counselors after the bomb.

The former Mrs. IMP: You drove me crazy about the kitchen floor
IMP: But you really like the solution we found

So anyway. Let's go back to the beginning of that staement. We had this cool house in UT. Someone had carpeted over the hardware floors in the living/dining room. We decide to remove carpet and fix up hardwood. The kitchen floor was some God-awful green linoleum. So we pull up the carpet and said in unison f***. It seems when they extended the room, they decided particle board and a carpet would be the solution. Anyway, we decide we went crazy trying to figure out what to do. The former Mrs. IMP would have idea after idea. And I would get a vision in my mind's eye. All creative. None right.

So we decide to get moving with the living/dining room floors. The floor guy comes over does all his measuring and as we are talking the kitchen came up. He said why not think about hardwood instead of tile. Great idea. We did it. We loved it. But it was used against me a few years later...lol!

Bam!!

It sounds soooooo beautiful......hardwood floors \:\) That has been my dream..now, the cabinets........i see dark cabinets with lighting above and below.....I'll help with that very easy...K? Then, if the flooring is light.....with the buttery yellow walls.....sigh, you will need some lovely crown molding ( I have a secret how you can have crown molding for a fraction of the cost)......

I would like to see some dark accents.......dark brown, black...something along that line..throw rugs, towels..etc...

Imp.....

I'm scared to say something.....in regards to half a foot

But......me being me......I'm gonna say sooner or later, it all gets thrown back in our face. Take it. Learn from it. Grow.

Be a cinnamon bun

Jeanette,

Thrown in my face but vindicated. When she got a house, she put hardwood floors in the kitchen.

And? That meant she was secretly deep down inside thinking of the house you and her built?

Must I remind you, that it is not about you?

Gosh Imp......your turning and I'm turning into \:o

Vindication is good? Does it help our self esteem? Don't you dare say NO!

C'mon.....you know I love you dude...I mean cinamin dude! Truth be told.....we will never ever forget, we may put it into a box and keep it safe, filled with happy memories. But forget......I think not.

Remind me, to remind you, to help me decorate when it's my turn. But for now...

Bam! Go with the stainless and buttery yellow!

The yellow probably isn't too far off what my mother chose for her kitchen.
