When his dad left he went thru some tough little rebellious stages. He tried me and didn't want to talk to his dad. He would be late for his curfew and just push it but I finally go I think in your situation you have rules and your H doesn't even though deep down kids like rules they still try you on them. I have to go to work but stay consistent with her and are always there for her and she will realize it. Thats what happened with me. I was always there for him.. It is hard for a while.
