maybe it's a Siamese thing. I had one as a kid that would "fetch" her Barbie doll like a dog.

I had a fetching cat once. It wasn't a Siamese and it didn't fetch Barbie dolls. It would only fetch wadded up notebook paper. Then he would drop it in your shoe and sit down and wait for you to throw it again. He was a cool cat.
