hmm...what do I want?

Well I read somewhere that you have to visualize what you want not just talk about it. And, I realized that I very rarely visualize what I want so I will give it go..

Now, I will be bullet iteming AND visualizing this at the same time..multi-tasker that I am..

I want:

to maintain the peace I have found in my life
for my kids to be happy and healthy
to be a terrific college professor and make a difference
to open up my own business being an academic coach for kids
to keep a positive mindset
to take NOTHING for granted
to be enjoy my friends and family
to be grateful for my new R with XH
to be remain thankful for my wonderful R with New Guy

and most of all..

to figure out why my wacky Siamese cat keeps bringing me barbies in the middle of the night..

Sweetpea...I loved what you wrote!! Yes, God has a plan for us everything is filtered for a reason. Patience & Understanding! We are learning patience -n- understanding, let's hope those around us learn to be patience and understanding with US while we figure this all out! (if we ever do)

Wow! I don't think I visualize what I want either...perhaps thats why I'm stuck in a hole. I have a foggy picture of what/where I want to be...it's the getting there.

I think for me, before I can truly visualize what it is that I am searching for.....I need to fully ACCEPT what has happened in the last two years. I don't think I have accepted it. Uhm, I know that I haven't accepted it. I think I'll have the Serenity Prayer tattoo'd on the palm of my hand!!!

I'll start small with the first thing I want....but it's the one thing that I'll never have THE TRUTH! That is what I struggle with. We've all heard that THE TRUTH shall set you free......damn! It's a vicious little circle eh? LOL...If i get the truth, I will learn acceptance, but I will never get the truth so I will have to learn acceptance the hard way! Crud.

I know why your whacko kitty is bringing you barbies!!!! YAY!! I can give you one thing you want...your siamese kitty wants

* my marriage & friendship restored
* my children to be happy, carefree and not mouthy
* my bills paid on time, decreasing rapidly in amounts due LOL
* the om to run away or quit the job
* to win the lottery - or at least a small lottery that would pay off the house
* people to respect other's privacy and not gossip
* to lose 10-15 lbs
* my H to know he is all I really want and for him to believe it's true

that's all I got so far...

However I'd like to add one about my crazy cat....

I want to understand what "meow" means......she's anti-social 90% of the time, but when I'm getting ready in the mornings she's right there, meow-ing at me all morning long!! I ask what, she says "meow".....I put water in the sink for her, she says "meow"

We've got a new kitten that does the same thing in the mornings. I too understand my dogs, but the cat is a whole other story.
