Sounds to me like you are doing great. Keep it up you have your whole life to look forward to. No use letting your letting your inept STBXH drag you down or hold you back.

I understand the frustration of knowing that others are accepting of our S's behavior. You would have thought that your bil would have told his brother no she is not welcome until after the D. Good for you on your Mini-Vaca, there is a lot to do here and see in Chicago. If you make it to the Sears Tower look me up I'll buy you lunch. BTW, they are currently filming the next Batman movie across the street, you never know who you might see. I guess the guy that is playing Joker in the next movie was seen skateboarding near the set while dressed as the Joker.
