I think thanking your wife is a great idea. Let her know you appreciated her support while you were dealing with your injuries. I like Nomo's card suggestion. Maybe even go with a blank one and just write in your sentiment, short & sweet.

Had a decent day at work, finally! Good day at the Dr. too as stated above.
Went home, actually to friends house (Ws BFF and my friends too). Kids were swimming, all happy to see me of course. Went to dinner with all and had a good time.
W seems interested in what I am doing at work, to the extent her interest is SUPER subtle.
After baths (ours too) W and I are sitting on couch w/ kids and talking about her friends. She is all Chatty Cathy about her friend that just had MORE plastic surgery and so I just listened intently. Im telling you, it is Orange County Housewives. Anyhow, the talk was good, we actually talked a lot about not much but when she talks I tend to listen. She brought up an email she got from someone at school whos child cant go there anymore because he has CF. She says it is very sad and of course I agree. Watched part of a movie, rubs and out of there.
Tomorrow is Astros game w/ S7 and Party at our house if it is not raining.

man i know this sucks, but the positives seem so good. together with friends, bath's at the house, time with kids, rubs, the movie. man i think i'm a little jealous.
your doing a great job. i love the thinking about her calling and she calls. lately i have thought things and then w says them, i'm so floored i think my responses are not that great, but it is crazy how that happens. nose itching i guess, haha.

I just found your new thread and had to say thanks for the laughs. Boob shirts, botox, cats, etc! Our cat does the same swatting thing when he wants to be fed.
I think the card idea is a great one, but I agree with ItsKat (I think it was her) who said not to add the part about not being able to make it without her. Too needy.
