Unless drugs, violence or such is involved, I always have thought they should be taken care of by both as much as possible. I don't care what that one parent wants them all the time, they are both parents children. I would never keep my kids from my wife and really don't believe she would either by the talks we have had about him.
We don't have any kind of set schedule, it basically who ever is off and wants to pick him up or weekend off. Then again if I get promoted I won't work any nights or weekends. YEAH.

I agree. They shouldn't be kept from a parent. I wouldn't tell my H he couldn't see our kids. Trouble is the only time he has ever offered to take them is every other weekend. So he went from seeing them every day to 5 days a month. I'm not trying to get rid of my kids but I'd think he'd want to see them more then that. Course then again he has me all confused so....

I always thought her and I could have that kind of "what's best for the kids" attitude. Sadly...it's about what SHE thinks is best for the kids and that's not open for negotiation at this point.

That is just stupid logic on her part. Fortunately if it goes all the way she doesn't make 100% of the calls when the judge is asking questions.

Nope she doesn't. My aunt told me something very interesting a few months back (same one the evicted me..but still).

She told me that as the kids were growing up she always viewed me as the nuturing parent...not her.

Funny thing is how come I never saw that?

Because you were in the middle of it, not looking from the outside in.

You know what I mean. You were together and raising them together. You would not always be paying attention to how she may have been doing her part because it was together.
