I have discovered duct tape works really well.

Just like they block out the good times.

I have decided if I get divorced and ever fall in love again, I am going to make any future wife read this site for 1 hour a day for a month, if they can do that and still love me, I will then proceed.

No they are the crazy ones, were the ones trying to stay sane during all of this.

That was my thought. Anyone who could read this that much and still want to get married has some good qualities.

My thought was that if they could read this stuff, see how much pain seperation or divorce is to one or the other person and still want it, they are committed to what they want.

True. Course my H has been thru a D and his first wife had an A and kicked him and their son out. He was the one wanting to work it out. Though now they'll both tell you they never should have gotten married. It was kinda a spur of the moment to the Justice of the peace. Yet here I sit... Oh and he was asked before we got married if he was sure because he asked his dad to do that. For the simple reason he didn't want to go thru another D.....

How soon they forget those comments isn't it.

I was also divorced previously, I remember my mom telling me she asked my wife prior to getting married if she was in it for life. My wife told her yes and that she saw what the first divorce did to me and she would never hurt me by doing that. Bet she doesn't remember that convo at all.

Yeah all those little statements just fly right out the window. Sure is a shame. Maybe one day they'll decide to open up to some of the good.
