Let me see if I can explain it, after drinking just a wee small drop of bourbon. First, you highlight the sentence you want and click "copy". Then, you hit the "reply" button at the bottom of the post you are answering. Next, you hit the boldface quote symbol in that line of little symbols that comes up. Quote brackets will appear on the screen, with just a teeny space between them. You click between the quote brackets, and paste your quotation there. That beautiful quote box won't appear until you hit "submit". Then, when you have all these quote boxes, it doesn't matter what you write--it always looks SMOOTH...
