My grandmother Pilar died this morning.

I flew out to Florida yesterday. My entire family was there, already.

Pilar yesterday, was not really speaking, and not opening her eyes.

The Miracle is/was that my best friend, my grandmother, had been with Leukemia for a long while.

She did not suffer ever.

Anyway, My grandmother, wanted me tell you guys, that she felt all your prayers. So I said I would tell you all, thank you on her behalf.

I walked in to her room, yesterday, and she opened her eyes, and smiled. We had a religious ceremony.

The priest was already there. I climbed into bed with her, and we spent the night holding hands, and talking.

She told me so many beautiful things.

She is proud of me, and as long as SHE is proud, then I know I can hold my head up high.

I woke up really early, the priest came over to anoint her, and she did her confession.

Everyone came in the room, and was hugging her and kissing her.

No tears.

I came in, and said well, are you ready?

And she said yes, i want to see my son Jose, (who had passed away)
And your grandfather, in heaven.

I said to her ok, do you want me to leave or sit here with you.

She patted her hand on the bed, and I held her hand, and sat.

I gave her a big fat smooch.

And she turned her head, while smiling, and she never woke up again.

She will be cremated, and her ashes will go back to Cuba, and she will be sprinkled over the beach, where my grandfather and her met, when she was 16.

She told me before passing, that she felt all your prayers, and I promised I would let you guys know.

I am back home. I am ok.

thank you

Lissett
