I just want to say that it probably is nothing, but it makes one's stomach turn because it is still inappropriate to discuss matters with a member of the opposite sex, but we all do it. There is nothing one can do about inappropriate behavior. Friends take sides. That is inappropriate. Spouses also feel out the views of the opposite sex. I have done that but I would never make a connection with my male friends. I just need to hear a man's POV. That is why your (789) insight has been helpful to me. Think of it that way.
