Husband, Heck, I'd really never even heard of no fault divorces and fault divorces until all of this mess happened.
There are reasons why you can file for D in AR. 1. Separated for 18 mos. or more 2. alcoholism 3. drug use 4. insanity but you must be committed to a facilty 5. adultery 6. not meeting the necessary needs of a spouse (financial and such) 7. impotence 8. physical abuse 9. incarceration
About the only one I'm partly guilt of is #4 because he drove me to it, although I'm not committed. My lawyer thought it was odd in the divorce filing that they didn't state a reason. So I don't know what a judge will do with this. I can counter with adultery, but I haven't done this. I don't want to be the one to end our marriage, unless I have just done all that I can do and am ready to end it. My attorney is going to file for separate maintenance.
