I mean, husband is a truck driver - all signs point to MLC. He's not home and when he comes come me make love--I want to and don't expect him to say the words but lately he's more caring. He had an affair << hasn't seen her but didn't tell her it's over yet, so there's a concern.
I can tell he loves me, been together for 25 yrs. He's a good man who tells me he's all F** up in the head.
I don't really know how to act towards him. I did order 2 of the books, but want to know before they arrive what to do/say/expect.
Site is wonderful, gives hope.
Thanks so much!

YawMom,

You can come at this from two different angles.

Are you a Christian? Are you standing for your marrige? If so, by all means act as if you are married. I might suggest these web sites: http://www.rejoiceministries.org, http://www.midlife.com and http://www.covenantkeepersinc.org. There are more. The Bible is specific about how husbands and wives should treat each other.

If you are not religious, it still pays to maintain your end of the bargain. Getting involved with someone else is doomed to failure, will muddy the waters and only cause more heartache.

Read all the resources here on MLC and try to find where H fits in. Join the midlife.com chat room for some excellent advice, especially from women whose marriages are restored.

Hi,

David has given you excellent advice. Your husband is admitting things that most aren't able to. This gives hope for reconciliation.

thanks for the info, will check everything out.
Yes, I pray for him every night. He was baptized not that long ago and took it to heart. At the time he's been on the road most times and hasn't been able to attend.
God has been there sending me signals and answering prayers, I will continue to pray for him and strength for me.
Thankyou all.
