I know I'm not at war with her. It's difficult to put away the defenses, seeing as they are what have allowed me to overcome my emotions and get to this point.

I guess some of this comes from a fear of not screwing something up now that I have gotten her to turn her head and think about our R.
Apparently I'm not as detached as I would like to believe.
