To make herself feel ok about doing it. Plain and simple. you can't take what she does personally, no matter how much it hurts. If you live and die by every action she takes, you will continue to be miserable. Give yourself a fighting chance dude, live your life and take care of the kids. Let her dig her own grave, because she's being freakin miserable to you and from what I know, you don't deserve it. Let her do her thing and you don't worry about it.
