Oh..this doc won't defer. As her receptionist puts it..."we already have to wait on payment from the insurance". So basically I'm stuck for at least 2 weeks.
Bullcrap.
Then you call your insurance company and explain to them the need to get off their asses RIGHT NOW because they are holding up your therapy and that is UNACCEPTABLE.
You can also tell that receptionist - hell, I'd love to do it for you, but you can tell her uppity ass that while it's great life's all hunky flippin dory for her, some people need help with problems larger than chipping a nail and she needs to either make you an appointment now or have the doctor give you an immediate referral.
It's not about YOU, if you want to look at it that way.
You're taking care of your kids' father.
So DO it.
Guess I'm going to have to go with plan B and find a different doctor. I just called and was told "payment at time service is rendered" and "if you can't pay the copay at time of the appointment then we can't see you"...
