I have to agree with SH. Kids at that age will tell the other parent things like that. I know my daughter (8) tells me things that my W will say to her in order for me to hear it.

But it should be said directly, not using kids as a messenger service, or even trying to get their hopes up (as well as our hopes).

If they miss us, they miss us. Just acknowledge it and leave it as that. I think it would have more meaning if things in a R were going a lot better.
