My H called the other day and said something about some of his old friends who are nothing (just kinda drank their life away, cheated on their wifes, etc.)He said he told our oldest son that he shouldn't be around those guys because they are no good and just thrown their life away and are not good influence.. (Oldest S rodeos around these guys)WTH!! Hello!!! My H has been right in there with them and still he has the OW. Does he not get it? That he isn't used the best judgement either? My oldest S is pretty cool about it and knows what is going on.

I'm glad you got such positive feedback at the funeral. It's so nice to get a boost to your self-esteem. Our spouses may be trying to beat us down, but guess what we are better than that! I actually talked to a male friend the other day who told me that I looked really nice and was glad I wasn't letting myself go because of what I've been going through. I guess maybe some people expect us to be wrecks and fall apart because of the pain we are suffering. You know if these people are telling all of us how great we look don't you imagine they might be telling our spouses how great we look? Hehe. You know they say the best revenge we can get is to live a great life. We intend to do that, don't we? It may take us a while to get where we want to be, whether it's back with our spouses or being strong on our own, we owe it to ourselves! Take care of yourself.
