Just an update. My H was talking to me yesterday and threw out the statement he wanted a pizza, booze, and a rip roaring game that we used to play. I said sounds nice. Now this is a game that we played together and neither one of us have played it since he left.
Then later last night. We were just chatting (he sure does talk to me a lot for being done) and he said sometimes I think we're getting somewhere and others I think you still don't understand. Now I know the last part of that doesn't sound good but for him to have said the first part is big. He wouldn't have said anything like that a month ago.
He also joked around with me a little before going to bed. It was nice. Now who knows what today will hold. Maybe he'll be negative or not talking, but yesterday ended on a good note.

My H hurt his back over the weekend and I offered to take his pain meds to him this evening. He agreed!!! So I'll be heading to his apartment later. Kinda nervous about that. Weird how I've spent 11 years with him and now I'm nervous to see him. I'm not going to take the kids with me and I don't know how long I'll actually be there. Guess I'll take my cue from him.

See things like this make me think maybe he's softening some. Cause I think a month ago had I offered no matter how bad he was hurting he would have said no thanks. Course could be he's just tired of being in pain.

On top of all this I'm now attempting potty training. He's doing very well though and at the end of the week I'm going to take us out for lunch. I asked my H if he would be interested in going. He said sure. Another positive. (but keep in mind he's done lol)
