Reality break - I like my horse more than I like my husband.

He carries me and never complains. I showed him the whip, but only once, and then put it away in the barn forever. A meeting of minds.

Hey I agree with you here but this is what got my M into problems in the first place I think.

On a positive front I have managed to keep both tho'

My horsey friends tell me tho' it's coz my horse is a mare - H wld just feel too insignificant if I had a gelding!! Imagine if it was a stallion!!!

I want to buy the rights to that novel you have all been thinking up - it rocks

Thank you Saffie, I agree with you. Being on the boards has made me realize how lucky we are that we successfully saved our marriages. So many people are in much worse situations. At first I came to get help, but I have stayed around to give advice where I think I can be helpful. I feel that my relationship with my husband is getting stronger all the time. I have stopped thinking that he thinks of her. How could he when I give him so much to fantasize about myself?

Just me, in the car, singing away, smiling, not talking.

I have 60 more days to "work on him". Somewhere in that time I hope to get him back to the post sessions. He also agreed to see the MC weekly too. I've got a game plan.

IF all else fails this weekend. I am going dark. Way scary dark. Shutting down the email account he has access to, moving the dogs to a kennel and taking the horses with me to Texas where I am doing a 1 month veterinary internship. No contact = no contact.

That sounds like fun, but remember, sometimes the warmer we get the colder they may get. I am not being a party pooper. I just want you to send him the message that you are going to be happy with or without him! U2. I also love your dark idea that you can utilize just in case! It does not sound manipulative or contrived. It sounds like you value your future. You are very inspirational to me because instead of lying down and weeping you are keeping your sense of humor and staying strong. Rock on!
