Thanks Sigh - good advice, all around. It's comforting to know others have gone through similar stuff.
Like I posted above, I'm in a much better space today (amazing what a square meal and a good night's sleep can do for the spirit :)) Anyway, thanks for talking me through it - these blips and spikes of emotion are probably going to be regulars in my life for a while, right? I might as well get used to them.
The new place is AWESOME!! It feels SO much better with furniture and I've been able to unpack most of my stuff and set it all up etc. etc. So now it's feeling like a real home. PLUS I have my own internet service (yay!) (instead of walking around with my laptop trying to snag a freebie signal - fun while it lasted but too much dang work).
PLUS I got a lead on a new job, so I'll be updating up my resume and portfolio this weekend (what the heck, I'm on a roll...)
PLUS my landlord (who's turning out to be a gem) fixed my central air - I mean, does it get any better than this??
Don't you feel better being on your own and working on yourself? If his changes stick, then isn't that better for the both of you? Worry about yourself and work on the reasons why you left.
Yep, yep and you're so right - thanks
Amazing what kind of emotions this stuff can bring up, huh? Well, it's better than being numb (and a lot more interesting, too.)
But thanks for the reality check. So, maybe, you're saying I wasn't speaking the right language all this time? I understood what the hell I meant but all DH may have heard was static?
