Not much to update on. Yesterday was just a nice day off of work for me.
I didn't do any of the 4th of July activities we usually do. H had the kids so I stayed home. I did get a new light fixture hung in my living room. (Yay me!!!)
Around 7:00 last night my oldest tm'd me and said her dad asked if I was coming for the fireworks. They told him no that I had other things to do. The way I see it, I wasn't invited and didn't want to intrude on their time. When he asked if I was coming, that is his way of letting them know it is ok if I want to. He never comes out and just says it. I still declined. I wanted to show him I didn't have to do everything with them and that I wasn't going to jump when he invited every time.
I'm glad I didn't go, it only lasted 13 minutes. LOL!!!!! Fighting traffic for 13 minutes is not what I call fun.
I had a pretty good day at home. I got some things done and just enjoyed the peace and quiet. I proved to myself that I could get along on a holiday without them. I didn't break down once. (Big step for me)
