So... you are doing that whole projection thing, then. You have the sense of an ideal woman (a woman who drives things more so you don't have to), instead of dealing with what is. You don't like driving things... and that is within your control to change.

Is sex glue or icing?

I'd say sex is the indicator of how well your glue is holding up. And when things are satisfying to both people, in terms of quality and quantity, the glue tastes like icing.
