I do not know if this is DBing but what about a little sympathy or even a little pity? I know it does not seem very romantic or powerful but people have been known to show affection or let down their guard when they have something to sympathize over. Would she feel closer to you or resentful of you if she knew how much you ached to be back together? I know we are not supposed to plead or say I love you, but she sounds very attached to your memories.
