Eh, it's pride, selfishness, and fear. But you know what? Chances are they deserve some payback. I know my W does. That makes it a bit easier for me to take. I know I deserve this to some extent. Now, if she was being nasty like some guys' W's on here, I'd be second-guessing myself all over the place, but she's been rather decent, other than rarely talking to me. But she's scared - scared to go back to what we had. All I can do is show her it won't be the same. It'll be WAY better, like we planned when we got married. She sees that a bit when we talk, but the time between chats makes it hard to get those good feelings to stick, you know? So I keep working on me, and I pray she likes it as my family is the most important thing in the world to me.
We can talk ourselves into defeat or we can talk ourselves into victory - we are creatures of our thinking.
