Sounds like my household, W currently at work so I am looking after S and D, having a long distance A with OP, still in same household (apparently I'm the one that needs to leave).
Still sharing bed and conversing, but no conversation about future (holidays for children don't really count).
I think I'll be like you, distance myself at home, but sound off in here - helps a little.
