My C agrees I need to GAL. But she made suggestions such as jazz festivals and stuff which are up HER alley..not mine. I've been looking for a 2nd job but with all the kids out on summer break it's been difficult finding one that will work around my schedule of my career. If I didn't drive a gas guzzler I'd just deliver pizzas or something.

Do you have a county park or anything? Go there and walk and you would be surprised at how many people you can meet. Not only are you meeting people, you are getting healthy also.
Strike up a conversation with one of those "Paris wannabes" and see what happens. She may know some people that enjoy doing different things and include you. I am not saying go on a date or anything. She may have a friend or brother or something in the same boat as you. You never know until you try. Get out there and do something the "old" you wouldn't do.
(sigh) This going dark stuff is harder than it looks.

I am so with you NM, did you read the sub thread about the different degrees of darkness? I think mine does not have to be totally dark, just grey as it says. Maybe we should all hook up on some online gaming site to spend some of that dark time doing something besides wondering.
