I didn't have much self esteem growing up either. I always felt like I was the ugly duckling compared to my friends. I was shy (believe it or not) and would stand in the shadows. Over the years, I learned to stand up more and more for myself.

You need to see the good in you. You have to want to have self esteem. Don't belittle yourself. Keep telling yourself you are somebody and you will start to believe it.

So work on convincing yourself of that.
