Why do these things happen V

I have given so much of my time to others, I am now being selfish. I would go into work whenever they called, I would go help people at the drop of the hat, I did everything but spend time with my family. Now that I do not have that whole family, I know I should be the same, but this is also part of a 180, being available to family, not others.
