We have lawyers on deck for that. I wouldn't be doing any of the work. We've had lawyers on deck ever since she first filed.
That reminds me of a funny thing my W said at our 2nd meeting. She said she wanted to get the D done because the L money was running out. I almost burst out laughing, but I held it in, didn't want to embarass her.
1) What the Freak do I care if her L money is drying up? I'm going to run out and sign D papers to make sure it fits L's billing schedule???
2) How the hell could he have used up all the money already, we haven't had any L interaction in WEEKS! Really maybe just once since the court date and that was May 2. What's he using the money for???
3) She mentioned it, and then forgot it over the ensuing 3 hours as we talked about us and our emotions and feelings and got things out. As much as I hate it, that was possible because of our forced darkness. I mean, I REALLY want to go home, but I'm OK not being there for now to make sure we're in the right place to make that happen when it happens.
So NM, go dark, make W do all the work, do your thing in the meantime, if she does get active with the L's protect yourself and don't let her bully you into things that aren't good for you, and take your sweet time! Be confident and nice. That is if you're still standing for your marriage. If not, well, sign away...
