As far as the job hunt goes. This can actually be a blessing in disguise because it will focus your attention on something else other than your M. Although I probably buried my nose in my work to much in the beginning of my ordeal, it did give me an outlet from my situation. I've learned to transition to participating in more leisure fun now to occupy my free time , but concentrating on my work in the beginning helped.
Where was your last job before being a SAHM and what did you do? Like JD said, it will give you a sense of self-esteem. I know it's probably hard to do at this point, but don't think of it so much as a challenge and something you have to do, but as an opportunity.
