Why are the waters still muddy? Still trying to control the situation? Why torture yourself? You have ZERO control over your W. She is in charge of herself. You are in control of yourself, and you're letting her control you right now. STOP!

Take care of yourself, let her know you're there for her and the kids whatever they might need, and go FORWARD with your life as it is right now. Keep the door open for reconciliation, go to God a LOT in prayer, and become the man you're supposed to be. If W wants to come along for the ride, GREAT! If not, it's HER LOSS.

However, if you keep letting her control how you feel about yourself and your life, you'll be miserable. It's totally your choice.
