Still feeling really, really yuck!! But thought I'd post a quick update anyway. H actually says I have more energy than he did on his worst day of the cold so maybe I will get lucky and get over it fast.

JDK thanks for asking on the meetups! I forgot to post, yes, last night I went to a happy hour/dancing meetup with that new group I found (and my semi-new friend I met through there went with me also). We had SO much fun. We didn't even wanna leave but I'd already promised to go to that birthday party with H, so we had to bail kinda early. GREAT group though and I can't wait to hang out with them again. They get together a lot, fortunately. I met a guy from India who was showing all of us his truly 24 caret gold ring (I've never seen 24 carets before, it's really pretty but the metal is so soft!). Several of them really love to dance which is great, been looking for that - and the girl next to me is an instructor for a French Cuisine class and offered to do a cooking lesson for us all. Fun stuff! I am really excited about this group.

Last night was the birthday party. No OW/PW (yay!).. but we had our code word ready in case of emergency bail-out. It was fun, although I could tell I was starting to get sick so that was a bummer. I originally wanted to get outta town for at least tonight and maybe go to the beach or something, but I have NO energy so think it'll be a recovery weekend instead.

My big excitement today was that finally at about 7:30 I went and sat outside for a couple hours (as opposed to all day sitting on the couch, too tired to even post here much!). Then the neighbors came over and wanted to go to dinner, so we did get out and grab a casual dinner real quick.

Tomorrow.. I'm guessing more inspecting the couch, vitamins, lemon water, and maybe a movie (rented) if I get really ambitious.
