I'm glad you brought that up because I was wondering the same thing -- can you request that?
Yep, you can if your state offers it. Mine does. I haven't gone to that level yet, as I'm hoping my W will want to go with me to the counselor of OUR choosing, but that is in my back pocket along with a few other things if the situation progresses badly. It's not so far, but it is nice to know there are some options down the road if need be.
