Hard to keep the PMA up with the lack of sleep and the overwhelming fear I have right now. This could be a huge turning point. If anybody has a spare prayer...I could use it because today's conversations with her are going to be difficult.

Well i got the standard non committing answer from her. She can't make promises it will work, it's my choice, she'll never move back there.

I'm thinking that I need to GAL. I have none except my kids right now. Getting my dream job would do wonders for that and my self esteem.
But my dream job is not my life dream. My live dream is to have my family back in a healthy way. But that is a crap shoot.
Either way I gamble..

She made it clear that she'll never move back there though Jazz. Isn't that the same as me walking away from her?

Relax a little dude. That was hardly a deal-breaker, not even close. It sounds very OK in fact.
The ILY, well, that's OK too. She knows it, she's heard it, now she just wants to SEE it. You're fine.
I wouldn't take the job just yet. Let your friend know where you are with your family situation and he'll be cool about it. The job will be there again later when you can take it.

Tough call NM, I agree with JR and Jazz, you never know what they mean with the words that come out of their mouths. You do have to look out for yourself.

I have my kids to consider too. But at some point in the GAL i have to actually get one. I'm really torn on this.
