OM/PA, MLC and the hits keep coming............Pt2

I have been having a pretty good run of things over the last few days.

W rang me yesterday from work to ask what time I was finishing (due to a severe storm warning and wanting to pick DD up earlier from afterschool care).

We had a nice chat, I told her how DD was happy and excited when I dropped her off at school for her "dress up" day. W couldn't believe that DD was happy after how poopy she was when W left for work in the morning.

I got home from work (before W and DD, she took DD rock climbing with her). When they got home, DD ran into my bedroom (I was reading) and jumped into bed to tell me that she had a go on the childrens climb. Then she asked whether she could sleep with me (which I love).

W knocked on the door and walked in, had a nice brief chat about her day etc, then she asked DD whether she wanted to sleep with her (DD declined). Then I offered to take DD to school in the morning to save her the hassle, and she said thanks.

Dropped DD off at school this morning, just got back from the gym and Chai Latte at McDonalds with a friend (they make a pretty good brew at the McCafe).

Now I will unwind a little before going to work.

All in all a good day.
