It is a big relief to finally reclaim control over my life. I had no clear direction for a very long time.
The biggest perk is that I no longer feel like a victim. H no longer has that power over me. And, no, it doesn't really matter anymore if H ever loved me or not. He doesn't love me now and I don't love the man he is now.
