Much better now. I have talked to CW, we are going to a movie as a family. I am going to play it by ear. I plan to be my usual studly self. And no Theo and LO, I won't be wearing skinny dude hot pants or some sort of spandex. I will be the total gentleman.

Well I am a rock as indicated. I went to the theatre when I was running some errands to pre-buy the tickets so there was no danger of the show being sold out. We enjoyed the movie as a family. I ate too much popcorn. After the movie, CW wanted to go to the mall to use the gift card that I gave her for mothers day. The store was having a 50% off sale. CW, S6 and I went to the mall and shopped for jeans for her. As soon as we got there, she told me I should try some on because they would look good on me. I was uncertain and helped her pick some stuff out. She modeled a couple initially for me. I ended up trying a pair on and was immediately hooked. I bought a pair that were originally $100 but marked down to $50. I modeled them for her and she liked them, but the manager who was helping me told me I looked hot in them. (It was a female). While CW was in the dressing room, I talked to the managerr and was joking with her. Afterwards, CW told me that the manager told her that I was really funny. Hmmmmmmm.
We stopped for a light supper and headed home.

Today was a little odd and I could use some advice.
This morning, S15 played trumpet in a local parade. We went and watched it with CW's cousin and 3 kids. On the way there, CW made the statement that she didn't really like being around her relatives right now. The parade was fun and to an outsider, nothing was wrong. CW even did a few nice things for me......
This evening, we went to her cousin's grad party. She asked me several times if I was still going. Going by the rules, ?'s are statements and vice versa, I went. I had fun, played some games with S6 and visited.
CW was again very nice to me. At one point, when I walked past her, I jokingly told her to give me a high five and she did with a big smile on her face.
When she was ready to go, she asked me if I was and I finished the convo I was having and we left.
We got into the truck, and she immediately looked away and got a tissue out of the glove box and started crying. I asked her what was wrong, and she replied that her whole family hates her and likes me. She also told me that her dad had told a mutual friend that she had moved out of the house. It is about an hour drive home and she cried softly the whole way.
When I got tho her place to drop her off, I said goodnight and I gave her a button that said, "Jesus loves You". I told her that it was true and it may help her tonight.
WTH is going on?????

1. I am convinced that this is part of the grieving process of someone in MLC.
2. It also may relate to the fact that her plans are not working out. In other words, you are (re)discovering your Self and therefore are a beacon of steady, positive energy in the midst of her self-centered, swirling chaos.
3. She is completely conflicted by the choices she has made and still has to make.
That said, don't over-analyze the sitch, just stay lovingly detached!

Today when I saw her, I told her that I couldn't say if she was right or wrong because it wasn't me. I said to her, you know that's not how I feel, right? Her reply was, "does it matter?" WTF does that mean. It wasn't even an appropriate answer to the question. I did notice that me simply saying she started crying.
Oh well.

I am somewhat feeling pursued. In a weird way. I picked up S6 for Bball, and CW asked me if it was ok to come over to get the dog and take him with her on a walk. In a weak moment, I told her she should wait until after bball and I would go with her. She said she wanted to go now. When she brought the dog back, we had a beer in the front yard. I got called into work, S15 wanted to come with me, so CW offered to take S6 home and gett up early to bring him to day care in the morning. It means that she has to get up at 5:30 instead of 6:15. Unusual that she would offer this.
