Advice to Married People

what not to say:

When speaking about another woman you're speaking with regularly and possibly too often:

"She's a good person"

"I can really talk to her."

"I feel like God brought her into my life for a reason. I have to help her somehow."

Of course I love you, but I can't take back how I treated you so we should just move on from here and go our separate ways."

It is also unwise to say/do the following when on a date with your W and an old "friend" shows up:

I missed you too.

I love you too.

Hug them in front of S.

Keep texting or calling each other to meet up.

Tell W that her conversation was boring so that's why you picked up your phone and called your friend.

And then there are holidays. More what not to do:

On Mother's Day, show up really late in the afternoon, after W buys all the groceries for dinner and say "well you're not my mother - why would I get you anything?"

On her birthday, show up an hour later than you said because your co-worker was throwing his girlfriend a birthday party and you needed to make an appearance.
