Cadesmom34 I just chose WA because HW said the area north of WA was a good place to live.
Yes WA is different than TX. I selected the eBay ND apartment as a joke because it gets really cold there. I wanted to scare away the weenies/tender foots.
But why the WAH!!!!!!!! I understand to most people there is no place like home. I have been in MT since 1969, in the same house since 1974. I like the physical country back in PA (my old home area) better than MT but I like the dryer air in MT. Also fewer people here, which translates into fewer cultural/social events.
Some trout streams and mountain camping sites within 100 miles but I don't fish or camp. How lame is that. It wouldn't take much for me to get into both with the right buddy or group.
Right now I am self-imposed, stuck in work, clean up, repairs around the mode. Lame again.
Anyone from TX to tell CDM34 about the good places in her neighborhood.
I saw some places in TX that looked like they would be good places to visit. I am certain some posters from that area found some good places to tour.
